Women in Business Technology (WIBT) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison strives to increase female representation and break down barriers within the business technology industry. By fostering a supportive community and providing resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities, we aim to empower women to confidently enter and excel in this dynamic field.

Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

  • What is the time commitment?

    WIBT member meetings are every Sunday at 5pm in Grainger Hall. There are a couple of extra events during the weekday that can serve as makeup events in addition to our point requirements.

  • What are some events happening this semester?

    We have a range of exciting events planned for the semester: a speaker from PTC, Valentine’s-themed social, LinkedIn and networking help, and much more!

  • What is the application process?

    The application process consists of one application form linked above! Attend the informational session on Wednesday February 11th for more information.

  • Who are some of the previous speakers?

    We have had speakers from a wide range of different companies: Adobe, IBM, Google, Meta, Microsoft, Singlewire Software, Carta, and so much more!

  • What is the application timeline?

    Meet us at the BBA and student organization fairs. Applications are released after the BBA org fair. Look above for more information!
